3. Examples of controversy include politics, religion.
4. This gets people to watch it because they want to know what got banned.
5. Promotion = profit for artist and record company.

• There is clear discrimination in this video against people with ginger hair, the police find and beat ginger haired people before making them run for their life. This video shows brief nudity and graphic war violence. Some graphic images include a young boy being shot at point blank distance and a teenager being blown up on the escape. This shows brutality can happen to any one by any group of people, in this video it seems that ginger people are being discriminated against. In result of this controversy MIA would have been talked about for in the media for a long time and so would have gained some popularity. The video would also have brought up some understanding about how brutal war is and how unfair it can be, whilst showing how the enemy of a war would be treated, having now seen this videos many viewers may think of how true this has been in the past with such tragic events such as the Holocaust. This video shows how determined some people can be to wreck other peoples lives, as at the start the police enter a building and  they attack everyone on the way to the person they are looking for who may be being looked after by the others in the building. The video shows unnecessary violence such as beats ups and graphic deaths, this woulds have been because MIA wanted to make a statement about such acts so more people are aware about them, so hopefully less happen. The record company may be trying to suggest that a big start to war is because one group of people see them selves as above the others or see another group as a wrong type of  the human species.
